General Information
We will ship year-round and pack your plants to protect them from the cold; however, we cannot guarantee that they will not be damaged from prolonged freezing temperatures. Please check the weather conditions in your area during the winter months to see if it is advisable to order your plants at that time. The shipping carrier we choose to deliver your plants will be based on the most efficient and economical carrier for your order.
We will do our best to provide you with the plants that you order, however, in some instances, we may be limited in quantity. If you provide us with substitutes, we can send plants of equal or greater value. We will, of course, give you credit on your next order, or refund to you the unused portion of your purchase price. Simply mark your choice on the order blank. If you are paying by credit card, you will be charged only for the plants we send.
In order to speed up the processing of your order, and because we are automated, please order by catalog order number which appears on the beginning of the entry line of each plant. Also, unless indicated otherwise, our plants will fit into the pot size shown on the plant description line.
When your order is delivered, please be very careful in unpacking each plant. Cacti can be very dangerous if not handled properly. These plants are covered with a variety of different spines (thorns) that are very sharp and can be very annoying. Your plants will come to you bare-rooted. We will dig your plants, trim off the excess roots and allow them to dry and heal for two days before packing them for shipping. When your order arrives, unpack it immediately and check the contents against the shipping invoice for correctness. Also, at this time you should check each plant for damage and if any is found, please call us as soon as possible at 830, 896-5582 or you may e-mail me at allend@omniglobal.net.
